TurtleMetrics syncs trades from the specific NinjaTrader accounts you choose to monitor. You can track up to 10 accounts, and each one gets completely isolated analytics — no data mixing between accounts.

Selecting accounts to monitor

1

Open the TurtleMetrics Sync window

In NinjaTrader, go to New → TurtleMetrics Sync. Make sure your API token is already saved (see the API token guide if not).
2

View available accounts

The AddOn lists all NinjaTrader accounts currently connected to your platform — sim accounts, live accounts, and any prop firm accounts.
3

Select the accounts you want to track

Check the accounts you want TurtleMetrics to monitor. Only trades from selected accounts will be synced.
4

Save your settings

Click Save Settings. The AddOn immediately begins monitoring the selected accounts.

What gets synced

Once an account is selected, every trade you close on that account is automatically sent to TurtleMetrics. Each account appears separately in the app — you can filter your dashboard, calendar, and analytics by account.

Adding or removing accounts later

You can change which accounts are monitored at any time:
  1. Open the TurtleMetrics Sync window in NinjaTrader
  2. Check or uncheck accounts as needed
  3. Click Save Settings
New accounts start syncing immediately. Removed accounts stop syncing, but their historical data stays in TurtleMetrics.

Common scenarios

Many traders practice on sim before going live. Select both accounts to track performance across both — TurtleMetrics keeps them completely separate so you can compare your sim results against live trading.
If your broker or prop firm assigns you a new account number, you’ll need to add the new account in the AddOn. The old account’s data remains in TurtleMetrics.
The AddOn can only list accounts that NinjaTrader currently knows about. Make sure you’re connected to your data feed and the account is visible in NinjaTrader’s Account Selector before looking for it in the AddOn.
TurtleMetrics supports up to 10 monitored accounts per user. This covers the vast majority of trading setups. If you need more, reach out to support@turtlemetrics.com.
